To drive engagement with MSN's breadth of news content, we created a platform to test user retention of the site’s top stories. MSN Trivia was a standalone website and event experience that quizzed visitors on five unique MSN news stories each visit. We fashioned content and social drivers for the MSN Trivia site and produced seven events across Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. The site and events provided visitors a chance to win a Microsoft Surface Tablet based on their knowledge of the latest news. MSN Trivia saw 99,732 total games played, over 1 million page views, and served 2 million social impressions.
